Justification: A terrestrial herb endemic to Ecuador's southern Andes, where it is known from two subpopulations. Most collections come from Cerro Toledo, inside the Parque Nacional Podocarpus. Another population is in the Cordillera de las Lagunitas. Habitat destruction is the only known threat to the species. |
