| Range Description: | Brazil (south of the Amazon Basin, Roraima); Venezuela. Its large range (EOO calculated on the basis of mapped herbarium collections = 4,277,040 km2) spans across the Amazon Basin, where no conifers are known to occur. It is possible that it will be found in other regions and countries, such as the Guyanas, when surveys of the floras of tropical South America approach a more complete covering than is the case at present. The presently known range is based on 22 collections giving 13 localities. |
| Countries: | Native: Brazil (Minas Gerais); Venezuela |
