Justification: Although it still occurs in relatively large numbers in the ridge forests of southern Thailand, it is estimated that the area of occupancy decreased by >30% over the past 50 years due to expanding agriculture and it therefore qualifies for listing as Vulnerable. |

| Range Description: | This species occurs in southern Thailand, as well as in northern and central peninsular Malaysia. In Thailand plants occur near the Malaysian border, with disjunct occurrences in Prachuap Khiri Khan province in the northern peninsula. This species is more common in Malaysia. |
