Justification: Although the species has a small distribution (extent of occurrence is about 50 km² and the area of occupancy about 20 km²), it is listed as Near Threatened because the plants are copious, reproduce well, and the insect pollination mutualism is healthy. Two of the subpopulations are in conservation reserves. Almost qualifies for a threatened listing under criteria B1a+2a and D2. |

| Range Description: | This species occurs in southeastern Queensland, Australia. Populations are restricted to the vicinity of Widgee, which lies to the west of Gympie. Recorded at elevations ranging from 200 to 700 m asl. |
