Justification: The area and extent of habitat occupied by this species are very small (not exceeding 1 km²) and the habitat is severely fragmented. The species is restricted to five known sites. There is a strong deterioration of the habitat. The total population is estimated at 150 individuals. |

| Habitat and Ecology: | The species has been recorded in evergreen dry forest at an altitude ranging from 115 to 300 m. |

| Major Threat(s): | There is a marked deterioration of the habitat caused by alien and animal species. The principal invasive plants are Schinus terebinthifolius, Hiptage benghalensis and Eugenia uniflora. In addition the ground flora is browsed by exotic Javanese Deer (Cervus timorensis russa). Monkey (Macaca fascicularis) damage to fruiting plants is also very evident. |
