| Range Description: | Confined to the northern tip of Madagascar the species is known from just five sites. |

| Major Threat(s): | This region of northern Madagascar is considerably disturbed by fire and the extraction of firewood and timber. Seed predation by rats also appears to be limiting the chances of population recruitment. |
