Geographic Range [top]

Range Description: One of the subspecies, ssp. littoralis, is confined to the coastal dunes in southern Somalia and would be categorised as Vulnerable (VU D2). However, the differences between it and the type subspecies are not thought to be significant. The species occurs more widely from southern Somalia up to the eastern Ogaden.
