| Population: | The species has been considered on the verge of extinction for over a decade, and as it was not found in the recent National Conservation Review forest survey it is likely to be extinct. A single tree was supposed to exist in the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. However, it has not been refound in the garden despite an intensive search. |
