Habitat and Ecology: A massive tree scattered in subtropical evergreen broadleaved forest along the coast.

Threats [top]

Major Threat(s): Trees are heavily cut in many areas for the timber, which is used in construction work. Regeneration, at least in Viet Nam, is reported to be poor and limited to forest edges.
