Habitat and Ecology: Trees occur singly or in groves in remaining areas of semi-evergreen broadleaved forest on limestone mountains. The present knowledge of the species distribution is not complete.

Major Threat(s): Significant habitat declines are occurring in the areas where the species is known, largely because of encroaching agriculture but also logging for timber.
