Range Description: Principally known from the center-north of Panama, the species continues to be in found new sites, increasing its range so that it almost stretches from the border with Costa Rica to the border with Colombia.

Population: No record of the species has been made in either of the latter countries so far.

Habitat and Ecology [top]

Habitat and Ecology: It occurs almost exclusively in undisturbed rainforest up to 1,200 m.
Systems: Terrestrial

Major Threat(s): Outside protected areas the habitat is frequently threatened by settlement, logging and extensive agriculture.

Conservation Actions: There are small subpopulations in Volcán Barú and Chagres National Parks and Kunayala Indigenous Reserve.
