| Range Description: | From near Knysna in the Western Cape to Mariepskop in Mpumalanga (approx. 13 localities in South Africa). It is also recorded from a single forest in Swaziland. All the subpopulations are very small, except for a comparatively large and vigorous subpopulation in Lilyvlei forest at Gouna near Knysna in the Western Cape. More research is needed to establish the relationship between this species and other Faurea species in East Africa, Madagascar and Zimbabwe. |
