Habitat and Ecology: Grows in mixed savanna on sandy soils on rocky, sandstone slopes of ridges and hills with a north and north-east aspect.

Major Threat(s): Apart from slight pressure from succulent-collectors, no immediate threats exist. Any change in land use, however, would have a serious impact because of the species' restricted range.
