Synonym/s:	Paludina liberiana Schepman, 1888 Potadoma liberiana (Schepman, 1888)
Taxonomic Notes:	There is confusion in the taxonomy as this species as it could also be a species of Potadoma. The operculum and anatomy are unknown (Brown 1994).

The species is only known from a single site (area of occupancy and extent of occurrence is less than 10 km²) where there is potential for disruption of the water course and declining water quality from water pollution qualifies the species for Critically Endangered.

Range Description:	This species is endemic to West Africa. Reported only from the type locality: on rocks in the St. Paul's River near Bavia.
