This species is considered to be endemic to eastern Spain, however the shells were recorded from river debris, and hence the precise location of the species is either in the region of Teruel or somewhere upstream of this site. Further data on distribution and threats would assist with a conservation assessment, but given the uncertain distribution the species is assessed as Data Deficient.
