Justification: Known from three sites but the number of individuals is very low in each locality, the population is estimated to be fewer than 30 mature individuals in total. The species is targeted by seed collectors hence there is continuing decline in mature individuals. Using the restricted range information, this species would qualify for listing as Endangered, however, because of the very small population size it qualifies instead for a Critically Endangered listing. |
