This species is endemic to Spain, has a fairly wide distribution (Extent of occurrence = 28,000 km2) and is known from 12 sites. It is found in mountain forests and pastures where fires and urban development are potential threats, but are unlikely to significantly affect all the populations, therefore it has been assessed as Least Concern (LC).
