Range Description: Colombia, Venezuela, Guyanas, Surinam, Amazonian Brazil, Peru, northern Argentina. Also found in the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil (Lim and Gregorin pers. comm.) (Simmons 2005). Distribution in Paraguay excluded (Simmons 2005). Distribution in southern Brazil corrected according to Reis et al. (2006).
