Range Description:	Microcebus mittermeieri occurs in and around the Anjanaharibé-Sud Special Reserve in north-eastern Madagascar. The type locality is at 1,056 m asl.

Conservation Actions:	Listed on CITES Appendix I. The only protected area in which it is known to occur is the Anjanaharibé-Sud Special Reserve. As of 2007 this species was represented in only a single zoological collection (Tsimbazaza, Madagascar) (Mittermeier et al. 2008).
