Range Description: Species is known from 5 points along a c 20km strip of coastline in Glamorgan and a further single site in Cumbria (H. I. Griffiths pers comm. 1996)

Population: Population is characterisd by an acute restriction of occupancy (typically less than 100km2) or in the number of locations (typically less than 5) (H. I. Griffiths pers comm. 1996)

Habitat and Ecology [top]

Habitat and Ecology: Has been found only in the supralittoral zone under stones deeply embedded in the soil. At all sites, the speciemns were found in association with the erosion area at the top of boulder beaches, usually where remnants of the coastal vegetation remained. (Oliver and Trew, 1981)
