Justification:
Although this species remains abundant in suitable habitat, it has a highly restricted and fragmented range, and is likely to be declining moderately rapidly as a result of habitat loss. It is currently considered Near Threatened, and should be carefully monitored.

Range Description:	Zosterops flavus is restricted to Java and southern Kalimantan, Indonesia, with one record from Sarawak, Malaysia. The population on Java is restricted in range (but apparently very common where it does occur) while recent records from Kalimantan suggest the species might be locally common in mangrove on the south coast.
