Justification:
Species present in Angola and Namibia. It occurs in two catchments: Longa and Kunene systems (also reported from Okavango). No obvious threats known. Larger distribution expected. More comprehensive surveys required to confirm the true extent of its distribution.

Range Description: Present in Angola and Namibia. In Angola, the species occurs in the Longa River and Kunene River systems. Reported from the Okavango River system (Skelton 2003).
