Justification: Listed as Critically Endangered because its Extent of Occurrence is probably less than 100km2, it is known from fewer than five localions, and the extent of its forest habitat in Holguin Province, Cuba, is declining.

Range Description:	The smallest frog in world, this species occurs only in Holguin Province in eastern Cuba from sea level up to 600m asl.

Habitat and Ecology:	It is found in closed rainforest on poorly drained soil, and maintenance of local humidity is critically important for its survival. It breeds by direct development.
