Listed as Data Deficient since it has only recently been described, and there is still very little known about its extent of occurrence, area of occupancy, status and ecological requirements.

Range Description: This recently described species from south-eastern Brazil is known only from Santa Teresa in the state of EspĂ­rito Santo, at 700m asl.

Habitat and Ecology: It is thought to live and breed in bromeliads in moist topical forest.
