Justification:
Extent of occurrence (EOO) and area of occupancy (AOO) are < 5,000 km² and 500 km², respectively. It is only known from the Sofia River, where it is threatened by continuing habitat loss and dam consruction leading to a decline in EOO, AOO, and the number of mature individuals.
