Range Description:	N. villosa is known only from Mt. Kinabalu in Borneo.

Habitat and Ecology:	The species occurs in mossy forest with Dacrydium and Leptospermum, or among boulders, shrubs, and grass in open conditions. It is found only on ultrabasic soils (2,400-3,200 m altitude).
