Justification:
This species was thought to be Extinct. Forest fires destroyed the only know habitat of the species in the 1980s. But in 1997 it was rediscovered in some new locations. It is still extremely scarce in the wild, but a full conservation assessment is required to determine its correct status. The species is provisionally listed as Data Deficient.
