Geographic Range [top]

Range Description: In Panama, the species is known from forest along the highway running from El Llano to Carti-Tupile in Kunayala Indigenous Reserve. It is easily confused with G. grandibracteata, which may explain why there have been no recent collections in this region. The species has also been identified from recent collections in Antioquia in Colombia, and in Darién in Panama.
