Justification:
No new information has been obtained for this species since its assessment in 1996. The species is endemic to a small island (139 km²), at least half of which is deforested. It is known from several localities, but none from the type locality, "its potential extent of occurrence has a critical extent of a maximum of 50 km², the area of occupancy being much smaller. Although deforestation is probably limited at present, none of the area is protected and the habitat can be expected to deteriorate in the future. It is listed as Critically Endangered.
