Justification:
Scotorythra paratactis was listed as Extinct in previous editions of the Red List. It now appears that that assessment was the result of an earlier misidentification of the species (M. Heddle, pers. comm.). The species' taxonomy has now been reviewed and, although the species is not common, it is still extant on Hawaii. The status of the Hawaiian Hopseed Looper Moth is currently under review.
