| Range Description: | Ara erythrocephala was described by Gosse in 1847 as occurring in the mountains of Trelawny and St Anne's, Jamaica, based on a bird "procured by Mr White, proprietor of the Oxford Estate"1. It is thought to have become extinct in the early 19th century. |
