Justification:
C. m. boutourlinii is strictly associated with primary tropical deciduous and riverine forest at altitudes of 400-2,000 m asl. is listed as Vulnerable as it is threatened by extensive and uncontrolled destruction of the forests for both timber and clearance for agriculture. A 30% reduction over the last three generations (~27) years seems reasonable given the extent of habitat loss, and indeed the taxon could possibly even qualify for a higher threat status.
