History:

Range Description:	Nestor productus was endemic to Norfolk Island (to Australia) and adjacent Phillip Island². It became extinct in the wild in the early 19th century². The last recorded living bird was in captivity in London in 1851². At least seven specimens exist².

Habitat and Ecology:	It inhabited rocks and treetops, and was seen feeding on blossoms.
